leDafi | Illuminating Yellow
The scarves are made from 100% premium silk twill. The patterns are hand-printed using the original silk-screen printing method at Switzerland's last silk printing factory. The hems are hand-rolled in the Swiss canton of Appenzell. The dyes are certified according to the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and are both washable and skin-friendly. The silk is produced in an ecological and fair manner by Società Serica Trudel in Italy.
The pattern of the silk foulards and the boxes were created by the Swiss poster designer and typographer Dafi Kühne. The motif was carved in linocut and each box was printed using a two-tonne printing press. The silk scarves are available together with one of the 120 limited-edition boxes.
